In 2013, Red Branch Theatre Company kicked off the season with a
retrospective cabaret entitled “Last Five Years.” It’s no coincidence
then that in 2014 we bring you this ultimate musical theatre composer.
Join us as we welcome Jason Robert Brown to our stage for one night
only in a benefit cabaret to kick off the best season yet.

These two chamber musicals depict romantic, fraternal, and parental
love and the loss of all three. Each show will be performed in repertory
to give artist and audience alike the opportunity to investigate
the idiosyncrasies of these distinct forms of love and loss.
The Last Five Years

Explore the five-year
relationship between aspiring novelist Jamie and struggling actress
Cathy in a way unlike you’ve ever before experienced. Some say men
are from Mars and women are from Venus. Others say men and women
speak different languages. In The Last Five Years, Jamie
and Cathy are almost never even in the same place at the same time.
Experience the creation and demise of this five-year union from
two uniquely different perspectives.

Frog and Toad. Follow best friends Frog and Toad as the hop
